We can’t wait to introduce you to our new Flower School – a space to unleash your creativity and learn a host of new skills. We have a full diary of events for 2023, starting in May when we’ll show you how to make fabulous arrangements with supermarket flowers, and culminating in exciting Christmas wreath and table centre courses. The Taunton-based course tutor – Katherine Taylor – has a wealth of experience and expertise, and her expert tuition will help you to create some fabulous designs to take home.
All course materials are provided and you’ll be able to help yourself to refreshments throughout. You’ll also have the option of lunch in the Greenway Farm restaurant.
Please note that classes will run subject to a minimum number of 8 participants – so please feel free to invite a friend!

Saturday 28th October – Mantlepiece Arrangements
This class will teach you how to create drama above a fireplace, with the focus of the design firmly towards the front – meaning that framing the space well and creating balance are especially important. The design you create and take home with you will fit on a home mantle or shelf.
The class runs from 11am to 1pm, and the fee of £60 includes all tuition, flowers and equipment.
Sunday 19th November – Deck the Halls!
This promises to be a fabulous day filled with flowers, foliage, food and fun!
You’ll create a Christmas garland, a festive wreath and a Christmas table arrangement, all to take home with you to decorate for the festive season – plus, we’ll show you how to keep them fresh throughout.
This class will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm, with a break for lunch. The fee of £120 includes all tuition, flowers and equipment, as well as a set 2-course lunch.
Friday 8th December – Christmas Door Wreath
Come along to this class and enjoy creating a beautiful fresh foliage wreath to adorn your door during the festive season. But be careful – this activity can become something of a tradition, so it’s sure to book up fast! The design you create will give you so much fun and will last right through to January, making your front door feel welcoming and super Christmassy.
The class will run from 11am to 2.30pm, with a break for lunch. The fee of £55 includes all tuition, materials and equipment, as well as a set 2-course lunch.
Saturday 16th December – Designing with Candles
In this class you’ll learn how to make a beautiful arrangement with flowers, foliage and candles to light up your home. The design you take home with you will be suitable for decorating your Christmas lunch table, or for placing anywhere in your home.
The class runs from 11am to 2.30pm, with a break for lunch. The fee of £55 includes all tuition, flowers and equipment, as well as a set 2-course lunch.
