We show here just a few of our most popular food and drink options, but are more than happy to discuss your individual requirements – what follows are some of the more popular dishes.

Almost everything is home-cooked by us, using ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.

 

Wedding Banquet – £25 per head for 2 courses, £30 per head for 3 courses

 

Starters – choose 1 from:

A selection of hot and cold canapes
Greenway chicken & duck terrine with home-made chutney
Prawn cocktail
Soup of the day
Caramelised red onion and goat’s cheese tart
Mediterranean platter

 

Main Courses – choose 1 from:
Chicken breast stuffed with garlic and cream cheese, with a white wine and mushroom sauce
Individual steak, venison, chicken or curried vegetable pies
Loin of Greenway Farm pork with stuffing and a honey & cider sauce
Grilled salmon steak with butter and a cracked pepper crust
Rich venison casserole (in season)
Spicy Moroccan butternut squash tagine (V)
Wild mushroom, Parmesan & pine nut tart (V)

All served with potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables

 

Desserts – choose 2 from:
Summer fruit Pavlova
Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce
Rhubarb crumble
New York-style baked cheesecake
Chocolate brownie
Lemon tart
Traditional sherry trifle
Somerset cheese platter.

All served with your choice of cream, custard or creme fraiche.

 

 

Hog Roast – hog roast, salads and potatoes only £20 per head, with desserts £25 per head

 

A generous portion of Greenway-reared roast hog with sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce and crackling, served in a rustic roll with a choice of 4 side salads from:

Mixed salad leaves
Coleslaw
Tomato, onion and basil
Moroccan cous cous
Pasta with roasted Mediterranean vegetables
Potato and chive
Mixed bean
Apple, cheese, celery and walnut.

Followed by 2 from a selection of cold desserts, as above.

 

Canapes as an extra – £6 per head for 5 pieces

 

Somerset cheese platter as an extra – £4 per head

 

Food For Your Evening Party – finger and fork food in a serviette or disposable container

 

Butties – slices of Greenway bacon or a Greenway banger in a crusty roll – £5 per head
Cheese platter – a selection of West Country cheeses with crusty bread, grapes, celery and home-made pickle – £8 per head
Hog roast – a generous portion of Greenway roast hog with sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce, served in a rustic roll – £8 per head
BBQ – Greenway Farm pork bangers, minted lamb burgers and barbecue spare ribs, served with crusty bread and a selection of side salads – £10 per head

 

Drinks Options

We will operate a bar throughout your wedding day and evening; however, if you’d like to provide drinks for your guests, then we offer the following options:

 

Welcome drink only – choose from Pimms, cider, gin or Prosecco – £6 per head
Welcome drink as above, plus a glass of Prosecco for the toast – £12 per head
Welcome and toast drinks as above, plus 1/2 bottle of wine per guest on the table for the meal – £20 per head
