Below you will find a typical example of our Sunday lunch menu, although there will be variations according to the seasons and availability of supply.

Sunday souffles: Choose from twice-baked crab or Cheddar cheese (V), with a cheesy sauce

For 2 to share: Mediterranean platter, with Serrano ham, chorizo, sun-dried tomatoes, Nocellara olives, roasted red peppers, mozarrella and bread with dipping oil

Smoked salmon & dill mousse parcel with black pepper and horseradish mayo

Tomato & basil soup with garlic croutons (V)

Stuffed mushrooms with spicy couscous and grated cheese (V)

Duck liver parfait with cranberry & orange relish



Mains – served with roast potatoes, and a selection of seasonal vegetables

Roast topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce

Roast loin of pork with sage & onion stuffing, crackling and apple sauce

Or choose a slice of each!

Sunday pies – choose from chicken, bacon & leek, lamb, mint & vegetable or traditional steak & kidney

No meat pie – Curried sweet potato and butternut squash (Ve)

Oven-baked cod with lemon butter, served with new potatoes

Luxury spinach and three-nut roast (V)


Desserts – served with cream, custard or ice cream

Extremely chocolatey truffle torte with hazelnut praline (G/F)

Lemon mousse with a shortbread biscuit

Sticky treacle toffee pudding with toffee sauce

Strawberry cheesecake

Lemon tart with fresh raspberries and a scoop of raspberry sorbet

Coffee and mini dessert – choose from brownie, cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding

Cheese platter – a selection of cheeses served with crackers, fruit chutney, walnuts & celery

Please note that all our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order – which means that during busy periods there may be a bit of a wait. Please let us know if you are pressed for time, so that we may help guide your menu choices.

An optional service charge of 10% will be added to bills for parties of 10 people or more, which will be shared equally between the staff on duty.
