Greenway Farm - Home page

Welcome to Greenway, a traditional Victorian farmhouse set in eight acres of land just off the A39, on the outskirts of Wembdon, near Bridgwater in Somerset!

We have lived here for eleven years now and in that time have established and developed a thriving business focusing on the land and our animals - free-range hens, geese, sheep and rare-breed pigs. Our activities include wedding receptions and family parties, outside catering (particularly involving hog roasts), and we also offer home-reared pork and lamb and our own home-made sausages for sale, as well as running sausage making and meat curing courses.

Visitors to the area can enjoy bed and breakfast in our luxurious, self-contained and en-suite king-size room, with Sky TV and free internet access. Or they can opt for Mulberry Retreat - a hand-crafted and beautifully-furnished shepherd's hut with king-size bed, en-suite shower room, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, cosy armchairs and fridge.

We are a Certificated Location for The Caravan Club, and welcome members for stays of up to 28 nights. Our rural location offers easy access to a number of local attractions, such as the Quantock Hills and the local Jurassic coastline, and numerous country villages  such as Cannington, Nether Stowey, Holford, Kilve and Dunster.  Exmoor and Minehead are not far away, and the spectacular Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival in early November provides another excellent reason to visit!

Post-recession, people are seeking value for money and starting to re-discover the beauty of nature and her harvests. Here at Greenway we aim to bring a taste of our rich farming and cider-making heritage to a wider audience and hope that you will find something on these pages that tempts you to find out more.
